- You need 1 kg of raw chicken.
- Prepare 1 of chopped onion.
- Prepare 4-6 of chopped garlic cloves.
- You need 6-8 of chopped tomatoes.
- Prepare 15 of cashews.
- You need 1 tbsp of pure ghee or butter.
- Prepare 2 of green chillies.
- Prepare 1/4 tsp of degi mirch.
- It's to taste of salt.
- You need as needed of water.
- It's 1/2 cup of cream.
Butter Chicken step by step
- Wash & rinse the chicken pieces with fresh water for 2_3 times..
- In a grinder add cashews, chopped tomatoes,garlic cloves,green chillies & thin slices of onion.Grind to make a smooth paste..
- Pour butter in a karahi.When it heat,add tomato paste in it & cook on the low flame till.oil spreads from corners..
- Now add salt,red chilli powder & garam masala,mix well.add fresh cream & mix well..
- Add chicken pieces & mix well..
- Cover the karahi & cook on the low flame, Don't add water.In between check with the knife if chicken is properly cooked or not.If need add little water..
- When it is ready,put it in the seving bowl & serve hot with naan,onions & green chutney..
