Ingredients of Chicken Biryani
- Prepare 300 g of Basmati Rice.
- Prepare 250 g of chicken boneless.
- It's 25 g of Butter or ghee.
- You need 3 of large onion finely chopped.
- Prepare 2 tbsp of garlic ginger paste.
- It's 2 of bay leaf.
- Prepare 3 of black cardamom.
- It's 4 of green cardamom.
- You need 1 of Cinnamon stick.
- You need 4 of Clove.
- It's 5 of black pepper.
- Prepare 2 of star anise.
- Prepare 1 tbsp of Biryani masala(any brand).
- It's of Salt as taste.
- You need 30 g of Chopped coriander.
Chicken Biryani instructions
- Soak 300g basmati rice in warm water, then wash in cold until the water runs clear..
- Heat 25g butter in a saucepan and cook half finely sliced large onion till golden brown colour than take out separate than add half other onions,garlic ginger paste and green chilli with all whole spices saute for 10 minutes,.
- Add chicken saute 5 minutes on high flame than add all masalas after half cooked chicken,.
- On the other deep pan take1 liter water put cumin seeds, green cardamom, boil it,and add rice,when rice 70%cooked than strain it,.
- Now come on biryani layers preparation- On same chicken pot,half chicken take out add layers of rice than sprinkle fried onions and coriander leaves and sprinkle biryani masala,again put leftover chicken and repeat same process till all ingredients finish,.
- Cover the pan with foil nicely and Place a tight-fitting lid on the pan,medium low to medium and cook 15 -25 minutes.
- Turn off the heat and leave for 10 mins. Stir well, mixing through chopped coriander..
